privacy policy

A general note – it’s a legal requirement to have a privacy policy and they’re important, but we know they can be quite legalistic and kinda scary. The basic thing to know about us is we’re trying hard not to collect your information in the first place, unless we really need it. That’s why we only ask for first names, and only ask for your phone number if you’re volunteering. We’re not interested in harvesting your data – we just want to make our democracy better!

This privacy policy applies to the website of community-based not for profit Citizens' Assembly for the ACT - actcitizensassembly.org (and related URLs).

We may make changes to this policy from time to time – updates will be posted here, on our website.
